Many of Jay’s friends are sad that they cannot make it to the wedding in person. That’s exactly the same for our close relatives, friends and extended families. Jay is also missing her best friends whom, if been around, could have been lovely company to celebrate and share our moments.
Jay thought it would be lovely to surprise and honour her friend Saranya who has been her best friend since IIT Saarang a dance festival in 2004. Jay and Saranya have been together for 16 years, through thick and thin. Jay often mentions Saranya to be her partner in crime.
So we ordered a potted plant with the imprint asking –
“Be my virtual bridesmaid – will you?”
Following this, Jay’s friend Saran – sent Jay a lovely handwritten letter – very personal and pink lehenga which is very grand and lovely. Jay probably will find an occasion to wear it in the near future. Saranya also sent Andrew a lovely Green Kurta, which Andrew is excited about.
Jay also wanted to surprise and honour her friend Sowmya for being her best friend and a great support when Jay wanted to visit Shridi SaiBaba temple in 2018. Sowmya has also fed Jay often when she was in Manchester. Jay always recollects and mentions about those happy and lovely memories. So we ordered the same plant for Sowmya as well.
Sowmy as well has enquired about how the wedding preparation is going on. We are happy that they just have us in their thoughts.
We owe a lot to many of our friends. Thank you Saranya and Sowmya for being Jay’s best mates throughout the long years, time and distance.
