Jay’s friend Priyanka had hinted Jay to lookout for a parcel from Amazon on 12th October 2020 when Jay met her for a bit to collect some gifts from Priyanka. Later during the day, Jay’s friend Malini texted Jay and Vibhuti in the group and informed us that we will both receive parcels from Amazon and not to open it until we have a call together. Jay’s friend Vibhuti is also getting married soon – on 4th November 2020. Jay was excited and was keeping an eye out for the parcel.
Two days passed and there wasn’t a knock on the door and nobody had called us on the intercom. Jay wanted to confirm if the letterbox has something in it. Jay went downstairs and came back. She shouted with her excitement voice saying – “I have collected the parcel and it wasn’t just one, there were two.” Sadly Jay had to wait for a week to open it. Jay’s friends had scheduled a call on 22nd October 2020 for 9 pm.
Jay had to install an app called HouseParty and that wasn’t easy as Jay forgot her Apple ID password. She reset her password and finally managed to install it, but then she was worried if she could finish work on time. Jay quickly finished work, prepared dinner whilst Andrew was preparing the booklet, showered and got dressed for the call. Murali and Andrew were wondering what’s going on as Jay had makeup on, wore her Bride tiara and she was very giggly. Murali and Andrew understood that Jay was literally getting dressed for the house party as she knew it has been organised especially for Vibhuti and Jay. She calls it a Virtual Hen Do.
The fantastic four joined the call and they were all surprised to see Jay wearing a Bride tiara and a Bride To Be sash already. To further fill the mood, they asked Vibhuti and Jay to open up the first parcel which was the party parcel. Vibhuti and Jay opened it and they both were very happy to see the bride to be eye glasses, a veil and a Bride to Be sash. Vibhuti and Jay quickly wore their bridal accessories and had a very good time playing games with Malini and Priyanka. It was a fun day and Jay wishes to have more of such girly dates and fun calls with friends.
After the call, Jay was excitable and dancing around demonstrating she enjoyed the houseparty call with friends.
