Jay met Vero at Eve and John’s house warming ceremony in Impact apartments, Sheffield. On that day, they became acquainted but never had a conversation that could help them stay in touch. Over the years, eventually Jay ended meeting up with Vero, Robe, Eve and John in Manchester quite often as Eve and John were visiting Vero and Robe or Jay. Every meet up opened up the chance to learn more about each other.
Jay grew fond of Vero for many reasons, but the most important reason is the friendship between Andrew and Vero. Andrew and Vero met each other when they started their PhD in 2006 / 2007 and have known each other very well through thick and thin. The same way Eve had known Jay.
